What is SULFUR?

SULFUR is an FPS dungeon-crawling roguelite: you clear procedurally generated areas for loot, improve weapons between runs, and push the storyline forward. The Church is your safe hub, where you store equipment, trade with vendors and upgrade the building permanently with Stamps from Arthur. The genre loop is harsh by design, since the gear you carry in may be lost if you fail, and dying is treated as normal rather than a failure state. That tension between risk and reward is why players keep asking very specific questions, and why concrete answers matter more than vague tips.

This site is written for players, by players. Each article states where its information comes from and which game version it applies to, because SULFUR changed a lot during Early Access and continued to change after the 1.0 launch on October 28, 2026. When a question has no documented answer, such as what the Not Breathtaking achievement requires, the page says so plainly instead of inventing a method. Prices, review scores and platform claims are dated snapshots rather than promises about today.
